Lee Renfroe serves as Convergent Telecommunications Instructor at East Central Technical College’s Ben Hill-Irwin Campus.

Mr. Renfroe began his career in telecommunications at East Central Technical Institute, where he received his diploma in Telecommunications Technology. He furthered his education and earned an Associate of Applied Science in Technology from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Mr. Renfroe spent 10 years in the field working at Bell South/AT&T. During those 10 years, he was a service technician, a digital technician, and a systems technician. His job responsibilities included installation/maintenance of POTS service, DSL, and T-1's. He was also responsible for maintaining communications at several E-911 centers and did installation/maintenance of key systems and PBX's. He currently teaches telephone system installation and communication fundamentals.

In addition to his Telecommunications Technology diploma and Associate of Applied Science, Lee holds certifications in Nortel Certified Technology Specialist- Converged IP Telephony Solutions and Nortel Certified Support Specialist- BCM50/200/400 Installation, Configuration, & Maintenance.
