Program Description

The Management and Supervisory Development program prepares experienced workers for entry into management or supervisory occupations in a variety of businesses and industries. The Management and Supervisory Development program provides learning opportunities that introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Graduates of the program will receive a Management and Supervisory Associates of Applied Science Degree.

Length of Program

A minimum of 110 credit hours is required for completion. A part-time student could expect to complete the program in twelve quarters.

Campus Location

The Management and Supervisory Development Associates of Applied Science program is offered quarterly on the Coffee Campus.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates of the Management and Supervisory Development Associate of Applied Science program are prepared for employment in a variety of jobs such as: small business management, retail management, management trainees, supervisory trainees, entrepreneurship opportunities, leadership, supervisory, and middle management positions in all fields.

Salary Range

The average annual salary range for Management and Supervisory Development graduates is $30,000 to $40,000.  

Personal Characteristics

To be successful in the Management and Supervisory Development Associate of Applied Science program and as an office professional, a person should have the capability to multi-task, possess decision making and problem solving skills, and have strong communication and customer service skills.

Entrance Requirements
Required Age: 16 years of age or older
Education: High School Diploma or GED Placement exam required.
