Mobile Electronics Technician

Program Description

The Mobile Electronics Technician technical certificate is designed to provide students with short-term training designed to prepare them for entry-level employment in the field of mobile electronics installation as well as provide an entrance point for high school students into the electrical programs. Courses in this TCC provide both classroom and hands-on learning in the areas of safety, AC/DC circuits, solid state devices and installation and service practices in mobile electronics installation.

Length of Program A total of 16 credit hours is required for completion.  Campus Location The Mobile Electronics Technician certificate is offered on the Ben Hill-Irwin and Coffee campuses, as well as area high school sites. Entrance Requirements Required Age: 16 years of age or older Placement exam required.		Curriculum
