Program Description

The Marketing Management program is designed to prepare students for an exciting career in today’s marketing and marketing management fields. The goal of marketing is to create excellent customer relationships by delivering superior value, services, satisfaction, and ideas to customers in a competitive workplace.

A career in marketing management is ideal for individuals who possess good leadership qualities and have the ability to work well with others. A combination of classroom instruction and job internship training provides a strong background in business structure and practices.

Students can choose one of four specializations in the Marketing Management program: Banking and Finance, Entrepreneurship, Marketing Administration, and Retail Management.
 

Length of Program

A minimum of 85 credit hours is required for graduation. A full-time student could expect to complete the program in six quarters.

Campus Location

The Marketing Management diploma is offered on the Coffee Campus.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates of the Marketing Management Program are prepared for employment in a variety of financial positions. Additional employment opportunities include bank tellers, loan officers, sales representative, retail managers, project managers, public relations, merchandise managers, and small business owners.

Personal Characteristics

To succeed in the Marketing Management field, individuals should be responsible, accurate, honest, tactful, and dependable. They should possess exceptional customer service skills, communication skills, and work ethics traits. They should have the ability to apply technology to work requirements and possess critical thinking, problem solving, and human relations skills.


Entrance Requirements

Required Age: 16 years of age or older
Placement exam required.
