About BanWeb
BanWeb (Banner web interface) is a product of the SCT® Corporation. Students and faculty from both Valdosta Technical College AND East Central Technical College, as well as the upcoming Wiregrass Georgia Technical College (result of the merger of these two colleges), should use this web portal to access academic information from 1994 forward.
ECTC STUDENTS: Effective IMMEDIATELY, you have a "NEW" College Student ID number as a result of the merger of these colleges. To access your new Student ID number, please click HERE.
Logon Instructions
To log into BanWeb please follow the instructions below:
- Visit the "NEW" Banner Web portal at http://banweb.wiregrass.edu
- Click on "Enter Secure Area"
- Your login is your college ID number (900######) or Social Security Number; Your initial PIN (Personal Identification Number) is your date of birth in numerical format MMDDYY. (Example: August 20, 1976 is 082076)
- On first login, you will be asked to give a security question just in case you forget your pin. (Example: What is your dogs name) Under Answer place the answer to your security question. (Example: Fido) You will be asked this question if you click on “Forgot PIN”. You must enter your answer the same way you entered into BanWeb. Do not use your PIN as the answer.
- In order to proceed accept the Terms of Usage by clicking “Continue”. You will be unable to login to BanWeb if you Click “Exit”
- If you are unable login, call the Records Office at (229) 259-5536 or email registration@valdostatech.edu and your login will be reset.
- Choose personal information at the bottom of the page to verify your address. Edit only "CURRENT" address. Do not add new or future addresses.
- You may change your PIN for increased security of your records. If you lose it, please contact the registrar’s office and it will be reset for you.
- Please update your "Emergency Contact Information" in case we need to contact someone in an emergency.
After you have gained access to BanWeb, click on any of the links available and follow the instructions on the page. Be sure to fill in all required fields. Please return to BanWeb on a regular basis as we will be adding more features for your convenience.

- Click on "Student Services and Financial Aid"
- Click on "Student Records"
- Choose the category you wish to view
Check Your Grades
- Follow login instructions above
- Click on "Student Services and Financial Aid"
- Click on "Student Records"
- Choose the category you wish to view
Request a Transcript
- Follow login instructions above
- Click on "Student Services and Financial Aid"
- Click on "Student Records"
- Click on "Request Official Copy of Transcript"
- Finish by following directions in BanWeb to complete the request
Update Your Profile
- Follow login instructions above
- Clock on "Personal Information"
- Click on category you would like to change (Note: If changing address, edit only "current" address. Do not add new or future addresses).
- Follow directions in BanWeb
View General Student Record
- Follow login instructions
- Click on "Student Services and Financial Aid
- Click on "Student Records"
